These sketches were a result of an exercise in which I would draw immediately upon waking up. Out of the 12 sketches, these stood out as my favorites, as they appeared to be interconnected, possibly representing the same individual with varying faces.

These sketches originated while I was watching an episode of Doctor Who. I began to ponder the various forms non-human companions could take. The Doctor typically relies on esteemed companions, but what if each companion turned out to be more irritating than helpful?

Friendship Pendants

I created these pendants to commemorate my friendship with a friend who was leaving town. My work started in procreate, was refined in Adobe Illustrator, and was executed via laser cutter. The show's star is the material that shimmers different colors from different lights and angles. Initial Inspiration came from the crests that the Digidestined carry in Digimon Adventure 1999, which glow when a special attribute within each main character is activated.
The alternate version of these sun and moon pendants was made out of black material to symbolize the black moon and the direct opposite of the initial concept.

Denver has always been a staple vacation spot to reset my mind and soul. I thoroughly enjoy sketching wildlife and intimately tracking some leisure activities while in town. When vacationing, I struggle with the type of journal to take, but since 2018 I have traveled exclusively with Peter Pauper Press' Voyager Notebooks. The attractive, durable, flexible faux leather cover can refill its internal spreads with dotted, lined, and blank pages.
