Texas Children’s Main Tower Level 3 Bridge
Skyline Art designed the level 3 skybridge connecting Texas Children’s Hospital’s existing Pavilion for Women and the new Tower II. The challenge was to create a cohesive patient experience while visually transitioning between the buildings’ distinct color palettes.
Our solution? A custom skybridge featuring a gradient color scheme that seamlessly blends the Pavilion’s blue tones with the lavender hues of the main tower. Dichroic film creates a mesmerizing color-shifting effect, complemented by natural wood and acrylic accents. Nature-inspired graphics, reminiscent of South Texas wildflowers, add a touch of vibrancy. This visually stimulating and welcoming environment enhances patient flow and experience.
Materials: textured wall covering, CNC-cut wood leaves with contrasting acrylic inlays, and scorched/bent acrylic leaves that pierce the wall. All dimensional elements are secured with hidden security hardware.
